What we collect

This site collects only what you type into its forms. The contact form asks for your name, work email, company, budget range, and a project description. The careers application form asks for your name, mobile number, and optionally your email, LinkedIn profile URL, and a PDF resume. Our resource-download forms ask for your name and work email, with company optional.

We do not sell your data and do not run advertising or remarketing trackers. We do use three consent-gated analytics tools, described below: Google Analytics for aggregate traffic, Apollo for identifying visiting companies, and Microsoft Clarity for understanding how visitors use our pages. Server logs kept by our hosting provider record standard technical details such as IP address and requested pages, used for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

Form submissions are delivered by email to the Codiot team so we can reply to your inquiry or application. That is the whole purpose: we use your details to respond to you, and to nothing else. Aside from the resource emails described below, we do not add you to newsletters or marketing lists.

Downloadable guides and tools

If you download one of our guides or tools, we ask for your name and work email so we can send it to you, and we may occasionally email you related content. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we never share or sell the list.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see aggregate, anonymized traffic patterns: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and how they move through the site. This helps us improve the content. It sets cookies and sends usage data to Google, which processes it on our behalf. We do not enable Google's advertising or remarketing features, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

Analytics runs only with your consent. On your first visit a cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, and until you accept, Google Analytics is held in consent-denied mode and sets no analytics cookies. The only cookie we set without consent is a small first-party cookie that remembers your choice. You can change that choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, or with your browser's cookie controls. Rejecting analytics does not affect how the site works.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our pages, through anonymized session recordings and heatmaps. Typed text is masked by default. Like our other analytics, Clarity runs only after you accept non-essential cookies.

We also use Ahrefs Analytics, a cookieless counter that tells us page-view totals without cookies, identifiers, or personal data stored. Because it sets nothing on your device, it runs without the cookie banner; everything it counts is anonymous and aggregate.

Visitor company identification

With your consent, we also use Apollo (Apollo.io) to understand which companies visit this site. It works by matching visitor IP addresses against Apollo's business database, and tells us things like 'someone from a lending company read our loan origination pages.' It does not tell us who you are as an individual, and we have that capability switched off. We use this to understand which industries find our content useful and to inform who our sales team reaches out to. Like Google Analytics, Apollo runs only after you accept non-essential cookies, and rejecting it changes nothing about how the site works.

Who processes it

Form submissions are transmitted through Resend, our email delivery provider, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Aggregate analytics are processed by Google Analytics, visitor company identification is processed by Apollo.io, session recordings and heatmaps are processed by Microsoft Clarity, and anonymous page-view totals are counted by Ahrefs. Each acts as a processor for the data described above. Your form submission ends up in our team mailboxes, where it is retained like ordinary business correspondence.
